Last Chance For Animals

Last Chance for Animals (LCA), has been in action for over two decades, giving animals a fighting chance! Originally protesting against vivisection through civil disobedience, LCA had broadened its focus to include all areas of society where animals are abused, including keeping stolen family pets out of research labs, working on the passage of legislation for the humane treatment of all animals and exposing the cruelty of the fur, meat and dairy industries.

LCA has been termed the "FBI of Animal Rights," and is stepping up the fight by increasing the scope of our Special Investigations Unit that provides the indisputable evidence required to expose animal cruelty and create real, lasting change. Past victories include exposing the disgusting Premairn industry, the heartbreaking puppy mill industry, and most recently, the bust of the most notorious Class "B" dealer, C.C. Baird. LCA believes animals are not ours to eat, wear, experiment on, or use for entertainment. Non-human animals are sentient individuals and should not be subjected to exploitation by humans. LCA recognizes all living beings as possesing intrinsic value and, as such, they are entitled to certain basic rights.
