Well, what can I say? My musician persona is a bit of a rarity nowadays. I believe in intensity and passion and it is very visible... "You know they canceled 'Cheers?' Yeah, Julie told me the other day. I know all the people were played by actors and stuff and, they all got new jobs and, even so... It's like they all died for no reason. I just turned away for a second and they were all gone. Everybody dies..." The worst thing about a new day is waking up to it. The "obscure dichotomy." BUY OR DOWNLOAD THIS: THOMAS NEWMAN: ROAD TO PERDITION & GHOSTS Whatever gets you through the night, I guess. All I see are ghosts with lobotomized eyes... You can join it if you can sing and play stuff. Let me know, 'cause it's gonna be, like, this huge display of histrionic psych-folk completely capable of a Godzilla like takeover. Garage rock with a little twang and spirit that seems to come up from the ground like a bone hand that grabs you by the ankle. Then you wake up and realize it’s just a dream, a dream laden with psychedelic depression and starving for attention. Let’s build a nation of feedback and drown out all of the acoustics with distortion. Let’s prepare. Revolution pending... EMAIL= IRISHBLOOD97@HOTMAIL.COM or I’m on AIM at whenplanBfails. You can buy my demo stuff at www.cdbaby.com/patrickmccann although, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you can appreciate the developmental aspects, I suppose...
Fox and I were on your page a week or so back, and through that we discovered Fleet Foxes. And through another link, we checked out the two Swedish girls, First Aid Kit. We really love the harmonies of those two! What a treat.
We were cracking up at your blogs. Your writings are such hilarious misery. Ha! Pegs our lives perfectly. Don't know what happened that we left your page without leaving a comment - something must have distracted us. I hate to say how much we enjoyed your plight, but you really did brighten our day. : )
Yes, thank you! I should have replied sooner. I'm working out one idea, but it's still just a thought. I might doing something pertaining to a garden. But, that's just to start off with. The track is great, by the way. I should begin the actual construction of the video by the end of this week, once everything is polished out.
Ah, splendid! Take as much time as you need. And, yes, I forgot to give you my email address. It's bou_678@yahoo.com And like I said before, if you have anything in mind that you'd like to see in this video, just give me a heads up and I'll try my best to incorporate that idea. I might send you updates of the video, to show you how far I've progressed; that'll let you see what's going on, and allow you to spot anything you don't like that I could omit. How exciting!
I just gave all your stuff another serious listen loud:
Simpler Then - I was reminded of Buddy Holly, if you send me your email, I'll send you some sweet tracks of his that you'll love.
If we can't be saved - reminded me of Cat Stevens
I Can Remember - wow, what a production!
Juliea - WOW! That's a monster. What a lush production. Beautiful. If you had a whole record like that, you could create a movement. Or I could see people coming to you to ask to be record their acoustic songs that way.
Questionable - reminded me of The Smiths with that sweet acoustic guitar coming through.
I'm thinking about moving this fall. I'd like to move somewhere warmer. One can dream, I guess.
Let me know when you'll be in town or I can come visit you or something, or we can run away and check out a new city for a weekend. You know I like adventures!
How are things? I haven't heard from you in awhile. I saw this Irish Flogging Molly-redux band at Peabody's last night and the lead guy looked like you a bit. Oh, and I think you need this shirt... lol...
