   About Patrick McCann
The worst thing about a new day is waking up to it. Oppressed by such... That’s the story, by all means. But, age doesn’t matter. What a beautiful death we both lived. I hated and loved it. The "obscure dichotomy." BUY OR DOWNLOAD THIS: THOMAS NEWMAN: ROAD TO PERDITION & GHOSTS Whatever gets you through the night, I guess. All I see are ghosts with lobotomized eyes... I'm starting a new band called, "The Moon Fire Funeral." You can join it if you can sing and play stuff. Let me know, 'cause it's gonna be, like, this huge display of histrionic psych-folk completely capable of a Godzilla like takeover. Garage rock with a little twang and spirit that seems to come up from the ground like a bone hand that grabs you by the ankle. Then you wake up and realize it’s just a dream, a dream laden with psychedelic depression and starving for attention. Let’s build a nation of feedback and drown out all of the acoustics with distortion. Let’s prepare. Revolution pending... EMAIL= IRISHBLOOD97@HOTMAIL.COM or I’m on AIM at whenplanBfails. You can buy my demo stuff at www.cdbaby.com/patrickmccann although, I wouldn’t recommend it unless you can appreciate the developmental aspects, I suppose...When NBC commentator Tim Russert passed away a few weeks ago, one of the most interesting stories I heard about him in the coverage came from his old boss Jack Welch. Jack said that when Tim was negotiating his last contract, he did so without an agent, which was unheard of. His only concern in the negotiation was that he could keep doing his job for at least 12 more years, which would represent 3 full US Election styles. He was so passionate about his work that the money didn't matter to him, only the comfort of knowing he could keep doing what he loves no matter what. On the day he died, he was in the sound booth doing exactly that. Though it's really sad that he's gone (he was a great fair minded journalist) isn't it great that his priorities were in the right place. A big contract will never be paid out. But he got to do what he loved up until the last moment. We should all be so lucky right? MySpace Editor

Want to see a show with me at Brillobox on 10/18? The Elephant Six Surprise Holiday tour is rolling through that night.

Think Jeff Mangum in a lobster suit.

Hey Patrick, always good to hear from you. You doing okay these days? Fox has been busy tending to his mom who's quite ill. We're going to try spending some time adding new songs to our profile now that Myspace has upgraded. Here lately seems we've not been able to do the things we love, nor even be around for friends and family. Hopefully that situation will improve soon. Are you back in school? Doing gigs?
Sincerely,
Ruthanna

I had the most amazing conversation with a 3 year old today. He could barely see over the counter at work.

I think perhaps we're born knowing everything there is to know, and we slowly forget as we get older.

I am no longer sure of anything. If I satiate my desires, I sin but I deliver myself from them; if I refuse to satisfy them, they infect the whole soul.

Good news! My new memory card reader came in the mail this afternoon, so that means I am able to make animations.

So, what theme did you have in mind for this collaboration? It's your call. Did you want to try a stop motion or would you rather go with something new?

I'm pretty damn psyched.

So we started a record label called WHITE GUILT RECORDS at work. It's for Japanese distro, and US pet projects, with each of us taking on a band at a time.

You should check out the new 1900's album. I think you'd really like it.

What have you been listening to lately?

I'm flattered that you would even ask. Thank you! And yes, I'm up for it. What exactly did you have in mind? It's your call. I've done stop motion animations (granted, they're rather mediocre since they were only tests to see if I was capable of handling stop motion) for a couple other artists.

http://www. youtube. com/user/spahoom

That's my userpage; there you will find the two animations (ignore the last two videos). In the end, the choice is up to you, since it is your music.
:D I've never been asked to make a project with a musician so I'm rather excited! Thank you so much!

There you are; hopefully this lasts long enough for you to see it. I suppose I was too young to thoroughly pay attention to the show, but I do remember enough of the key components, such as Quail Man. I thought he was the cat's pajamas. Hope this tickled you. I thought it was goofy.

Anyways...
Yes! All of the songs offered on music. download. com are definite keepers in my music library. 'Sympathy is Dead' and 'Take Your Time Leaving' are concrete favorites, but then again, I love all the songs that were up for the taking. :D That's too bad, though. However! Your solo work is fantastic, as well. My little mp3 player appreciates as much Patrick McCann as it can hold. Wi-five to you, good sir

The video that I responded to your 'Doug' blog with? No, it was actually a little snippit of an episode of Doug. That's too bad that it was deleted; I would have thought you would find it humourous. Bummer.

Sadly, the Earthbound rom was unsuccessfull. However, I did snag up the Resident Evil II rom, as well as the Metal Slug IV rom. That should keep me busy for a couple of days.

And, I don't mean to be nosey, or pry, but what happend to the Black and White Nightmares? Don't get me wrong, what you've put out lately is fantastic, but I still miss it something fierce.

Oh, wow! Yes, yes it is; I first had junior Starman in Belch's place, but I figured Belch was more recognizable. Fantastic, another Earthbound fan. I've tried many roms, however, none were successful during the downloading process. So unfortunately, the only way I will be able to play it, is if I purchase the game itself. However, thank you for providing that link (I'll give it a go, and see if that one may be the one to work) I wouldn't mind owning it, although it's become costly throughout the years.

Anyways, I am a long time fan of yours, and I just now stumbled across your myspace homepage last night. I started out with Black and White Nightmares and the sound just stuck with me. I haven't ventured much into your solo stuff, but I'm anticipating great things. So far, I'm in love with what I hear; I wish the best luck to you and your future projects.

Peace be the journey,
Cristian T.

thanks for the suggestions, I actually listen to cirlce takes the square, I love them. I've never heard fleet foxes though, gonna have to check that one out.
I really like your music too, kind of has an Elliott Smith feel to it. Its funny after I thought that, I read your influences, and him, Nick Drake, and many other good artists were in there. Nice stuff, really.
cheers.
