We are very sad to announce that due to health problems within the band, Last Day Lost is coming to an end. Bryant has had tinnitus and hyperacusis for years, but it has recently risen to an extreme, making it impossible to continue with band. Our lives have all revolved around this band for the last decade and we can’t believe it is coming to an end...it is so heartbreaking and we wish there was another way.
We want to thank you for all the love and support you have given us, and for years and years of amazing memories…we will never forget you guys.
Canada based Last Day Lost embraces the sibling band motif and is earning their place among the pop-indie ranks. The band is comprised of sisters Christina, (guitar & vocals) Sarah, (bass & vocals) brother Bryant, (guitar & vocals) and Josh on drums.
They’ve opened for Rick Derringer, Edgar Winter, The Headpins and Chilliwack, with support slots for Theory of a Deadman, Hedley and Faber Drive.
Five songs from their newest release Places to Hide were submitted to the International Songwriting Contest and the Billboard World Song Contest; all five songs placed in the semi-finals. For three consecutive years Last Day Lost has been a semi-finalist in the Independent Music World Series and for two consecutive years winner of the Original Band of the Year from the Canadian Association of Musical Empowerment and Opportunity.
In 2008 they performed at the highly revered New Music West, performed at Creation Fest 2008 at the Gorge Amphitheatre and toured extensively throughout the U.S.
Since their 2004 self titled debut, the band has grown and expanded its sound. Places to Hide is an enthusiastic burst of pop energy that explodes live on stage.
