Last Letter Read are a Pop Punk band from West Sussex, England.
Since forming in 2004, they have released 4 EP’s, the latest being the 2007 release ’Stop Now Its Gone Too Far’.
To promote the cd, Last Letter Read went on month long, self booked UK tour.
In the fall of 2007, they recorded a new single, titled ’Example B, Or Is It Me?’, which the boys made totally free to download!
Hot off the heels of the release of the single, they joined forces with laptop rapper, MC Lars, and hit the road for an awesome 12 date tour.
After touring in the summer of 08' on a headline tour, plus dates with Army Of Freshman & All Time Low, they released new single, 'Your Year', which was released November 2008.
In 2009, they kicked things off with a 12 date UK tour alongside Quietdrive in January. Now they are working hard on a new EP, for a June release. There's big things coming, so keep your eyes peeled...
"McFly and Son Of Dork fans, take note. While your guys have slipped off the radar, try out Last Letter Read. With a slightly rockier sound than both those two more famous acts, LLR could be the band you’re looking for now you’re ready to move up to something a little harder." - POPWORLD
’Pure and simple pop-punk energy, lots of bounce and lots of good times, music to put a smile on your face.... LLR really do sound like the real deal.... The band can clearly write a good tune, It’s something they do consistently well....tracks like the Simple Plan-esque ’Week North of Home’ are very, very catchy. Heavily influenced by their American soundalikes, Last Letter Read are a decent prospect and ones to watch in 2008.’ - PUNKTASTIC
’There is something to be said for sticking to what you know best and improving on it as much as possible. Last Letter Read did just that, having been playing pop/punk together for nearly 5 years they now have their live set completely nailed down in every department. Even their soundcheck was good! Lead singer and bass player Rob Bateman makes a great frontman, the band really love what they are doing and this radiates from the stage, good backing vocals, stage choreography, good catchy songs with memorable hooks, tight as hell and they had great rapport with audience. We’ll have to strengthen the stage next time the entire band starts jumping in unison!’ - HDLMA
"I was amazed by you guys. You were Headlining material as from the first note. I can’t find fault anywhere. Hopefully you will be gigging more in the Horsham area in the future as i would pay to see you guys again. " - EVO PROMOTIONS
