~ The home studio of independent singer songwriter Christopher Sprake, Last Match Recordings is suited to demos, albums and soundtracks. Running a sixteen channel digital interface complimented by tube preamps and compressors, Last Match Recordings can capture a full drum set-up, warm acoustic instruments, clean crisp vocals and big guitar and bass sounds. Tracking and mixing with Cubase and Protools, a large selection of plugins are also on offer to shape your projects’ sound.
Producer assistance with instrumentation, sequencing and sampling is included in studio rates. The studio offers an on site piano, drum kit, vintage synth and tube amplifier along with a variety of guitars and effects processors at request. The variable floor plan allows for a dry clean sound great for drums and vocals or a bright “live” sound that brings out character in strings and other acoustic instruments. Microphones in use are Rode, Electro voice, Shure and Samson.
