Welcome to my corner of cyberspace, I'm Ed Hope and I play music with my friends, they know instruments both obscure & familar.
Together we make simple toe-tapping acoustic folk, much like a merry Catholic family jamming on a bank holiday. The songs are stories about such things as boats, barn dances, woodlands, Christmas, all written from a simple perspective, with the aim to charm you into a little nostalgia, even if you've never been to a jig.
We've done 2 UK tours to promote our 2 records 'Me Against The Big Bad World' (2007) and 'Hunny! The Funfair' (2008)- we miss our van, the new friends we met every day and sleeping like a family on the run.
