Lastpain was created in the year 2000 by Edu Alves (guitars) and Alex N (keyboards and samplers)
The original idea was to make a hard and dark rock, packed with a strong presence of electronic elements.
With Alex leaving in 2002, the band came with a rawer, heavier and pure rock ´n roll sound. Creating a dark atmosphere by the basic instruments (bass, guitar and drums).
The main influences are Guns n´ Roses, Paradise Lost, The Cult, HIM, Kiss, Jane´s Addiction, Nine inch Nails, Marylin Manson, Backyard Babies, The 69 Eyes, Black Label Society, among others.

O Lastpain surgiu em meados de 2000, fundado pelo guitarrista Edu Alves e o tecladista e produtor de música eletrônica Alex N.
A princípio a banda tinha a proposta de fazer um rock pesado, sombrio e embalado por uma forte presença de elementos eletrônicos.
Com a saida de Alex em 2002, a banda adquiriu uma sonoridade mais crua, mais pesada e mais rock n´roll. Deixando de lado algumas "frescuras" e criando uma atmosfera obscura através do som de instrumentos básicos (baixo, guitarra e bateria).
As influências são muitas e variadas. As principais, são Guns n´ Roses, Paradise Lost, The Cult, HIM, Kiss, Jane´s Addiction, Nine inch Nails, Marylin Manson, Backyard Babies, The 69 Eyes, Black Label Society, entre muitas outras.
