Leeds based Last Temple Orchestra are a 3 piece alternative rock band that formed in the cold summer of 2008 after the demise of their previous musical efforts. After taking in venues from The Dublin Castle in London to Fibbers in York, they decided to take a year out to regroup and write some songs. They wrote a collection of songs they believed in and hit the studio right away to record their first EP.
This led to a distribution deal with Ivolv digital, shortly before playing their first gig who in turn released the EP through all of the digital outlets.
The release of the EP led to a live acoustic session on BBC radio Leeds and a number of gigs taking in supports with bands such as the Screaming Lights.
Drawing lyrical influence from their own social environment, they hold a mirror up to a country in the middle of a depressing down turn and feel the need to offer some hope through their music which has been likened to The Killers and Manic Street Preachers in delivery. They produce the melodies and epic gloss of U2 delivered with the raw energy and bite of Queens of The Stoneage.

yeah mate definitely need to sort some stuff out, i am in london at present and very tempted to set up down here soon but i have some leeds gigs sorted so pop down and we can arrange something.
