My interests vary far and wide, and im adding new interests every day! Traveling must be at the top of the list. Earlier this year was in Puerto Rico. Previous trips were to Fiji, Hawaii, Iceland, Spain, Italy, United Kingdom and the Canary Islands.. I find it really interesting to experience cultures that are new to me, and to see the differences in how people live and how they act... I love to experience fresh, ripe and different foods of the world. I have come to realize that here in America, we generally live a much "faster paced" life with less traditions than some of the other cultures I have visited. Other interests include outdoor interests including the standard, hiking, mountain biking, rollerblading, kneeboarding, snow skiing, rock climbing.. I also enjoy researching and learning about subjects that interest me. Im like a sponge and like to soak up information. I like to learn about health, diet and nutrition. I travel and give lectures about vegan, vegetarian raw living foods diet. I have been a raw food vegan for 11 years. Many times im quiet and just listening and learning.. unless you get me talking about something I know about. I am a fix-it-guy, I have worked on remodeling/construction/cars/electronical items, a tinkerer at heart. I remember the first time I must have been 5 years old and took apart a radio, and parts popped out , and was unable to put it back together! Now days, that doesnt happen too often :)
Music
I like alot of different varieties of music.. including pop music, 80s music, etc. Nothing too hard core.
Movies
Im a sucker for a good romance movie. I also like Adventure Films. Don't like War Movies or Movies with excessive Violence. Pretty Woman, Back to the Future, Before Sunrise, Walk in the Clouds, Bourne Identity
Television
Im a Reality TV Junkee. The Amazing Race is my favorite Show. Also like American Inventor, and Good Eats on the Food Network. Alot of what is on TV is as my dad says "mind rotting garbage".
Books
I like to read non-fiction books. My latest purchase was "Incredible Vegetables from Self-Watering Containers".
About me:
Im a healthy, fit guy that really cares about the important things in life... Such as Family and Friends. I find so many people engrossed with superficial things in life.. I use to be there, but had a life-changing incident in my life that changed me forever. Originally from California, my parents are from Hawaii and Michigan, so im what they call in hawaii, hapa haole. I still have family in Hawaii and visit 2 times a year. I hope one day to have a place there. I love tropical weather and tropical fruit. Ever had a lychee fruit? Im a caring individual, and believe that I can make a difference in the world, even if it is just one person at a time. I have more closer friends, although I have many aquaintences too. One of my main goals in life is to make a difference in the world.. I accomplish this everyday by sharing with others what i have learned about diet and health. I coach people to help them become healther, lose weight and have abundant energy!....

Happy Valentine's Day John!!! I havent heard from you in a long while and you've been in my thoughts- you'll have to let me know how everything is going- blessings.
Hey John- you'll be proud of me. I finally decided for myself that the mistreatment and physical and emotional effects working at JL's was not healthful or right to stay. I bid my fairwell as an employee last night.
You are so blessed in ways you may never even know.
"Gratitude unlocks the fullness of life. It turns what we have into enough and more. It turns denial to acceptance, chaos to order, confusion to clarity. It can turn a meal into a feast, a house into a home, a stranger to a friend. Gratitude makes sense of our past, brings peace for today, and creates a vision for tomorrow." --Author Unknown
Thank you for your friendship. Have a Blessed Day, Katharine
