Tasha Marillia is the songstress to keep your eye on this year. Having recently scooped an industry recognised Best Unsigned Act Award, she is following in the steps of artists like Beyoncé and Lady Gaga. Tasha has recently spent quality time in L.A. working alongside Genuine Rep. (who represent producers with credits including Justin Timberlake, Christina Aguilera, Jojo, Brandy, Boys2Men & Robin Thicke amongst others) & hitmakers The Insomniax to produce the song and video for her debut track ‘Lotta Love.’ Video producer/director, Chris Woodrum (whose artistic skills feature in the production of the hit TV series Entourage), and the Atomic Studios team have also got in on the action, to produce the debut video from this talented up-and-coming starlet who lent her vocal talent to Miss Nina's current number one single in Malaysia featuring Colby O'Donis, entitled 'What You Waiting For'. Releasing in July 2010, Tasha features on the track's BVs and the song is making its way to UK airwaves. The gifted RnB/Soul/Pop artist describes her unique sound as “fresh, crisp and upbeat with a hint of vocal soulfulness.” Having submerged herself in music from a young age, Tasha has developed her talent through live performances and showcases. She’s also applied herself to the theory whilst studying a degree in media and music. Her many and varied influences include RnB & soul divas Mariah Carey and Whitney Houston, as well as the legendary Michael Jackson.
