General
Traveling to places I've never been and to those that I know by heart, seeking out new information on the Internet, teaching people new tricks, learning new and naughty things, anything that's electronic and costs over $100, listening to music while I work or pound out something to put on the web, taking pictures and sharing them, trying not to work at work...
Music
Any music that makes me want to do things I don't normally do. Alanis Morrisette for when I'm angry, The Killers for when I'm feeling naughty, Keane for those times I need to slow down, Snow Patrol just for fun, Queen to get riled up, Etta James when I feel wistful, Pearl Jam and Weezer when I need to grunge out and any 80's songs when it's time to dance.
Movies
I love movies, as my Netflix queue can attest to (I think I'm up to 175 so far). I like movies that are a bit quriky like A Life Less Ordinary. I have While You Were Sleeping memorized (scared yet?). I like a good boy movie as Mystery Alaska, Miracle, Ferris Beuller, Austin Powers, The Matrix, Constantine, Independance Day, The Mummy, Dude Where's My Car, Office Space and Animal House can atest to. I'm also a sucker for those romantic comedys like 10 Things I Hate About You, The Cutting Edge, Never Been Kissed, and Three to Tango. I can also be seen sitting in the theater to watch a good kid movie like Robin Hood (the Disney cartoon version), Shrek, Madacascar, and Cars. Movies that have a cinematic scope to them such as Pirates of the Carribean, and Moulin Rouge also make the list. The Big Easy is included since it's all about New Orleans, includes cops and has a pretty hot gator scene in it.
Television
When I have time to watch what my TiVo has recorded for me, it's most likely COPS, Worlds Wildest Police Videos, Battlestar Glactica, Psych, The Knights of Prosperity, Digging for the Truth, the Daily Show with Jon Stewart, The Closer, and some random movies.
Books
Books that suck me in are the best books. I enjoy any historial non fiction books about the history of England, especially if it has to do with the plague. Any romance novels recommended by my roommate go to the top of the 'must read now' pile. When I'm in the mood to plan my trip to England this fall, I trot out my 10 or so travel books. Mamma Makes Up Her Mind and other Dangers of Southern Living, Angus, Thongs and Full Frontal Snogging as well as Good Omens and Stiff all made me laugh out loud while I was reading them, catching the unsuspecting public around me off guard.
Heroes
I'm trying hard everyday to be my own hero.

I'm a day late, but I hope your birthday was amazing. I'm going to email you shortly and see if we can arrange a nice meet somewhere :) I actually might be knocking around london for a couple of days after next thursday, so we'll see how it all unfolds.
Either ways.
Happy belated birthday, pretty lady :)
