"Powerful and strange, serenity wells from the organ pumps and the broken electronic wells of this alt-country-tinged melancholia.... 4AD doesn't usually get these things wrong, and they've picked another quality act..." Pop Matters
"Everything about their debut release hints at possible genius" CMJ
"Oozes a limpid, dusty and otherworldly beauty." Q Magazine
"A masterpiece of slowmotion wonder." Insound
"the Late Cord may be one of the most quintessentially 4AD-sounding new artists that the label has signed in the 2000s...As melancholy as Lights from the Wheelhouse can be, it's also oddly inviting." All Music Guide
This is the new church music.
Though not religious at least, not in any conventional sense -- The Late Cords debut EP, Lights from the Wheelhouse, is certainly prayerful, a deep, contemplative blend of the acoustic and electronic, the traditional and experimental, the lyrical and abstract. Here, a slow, simmering organ shares the space with a jack-in-the-box thumb piano, crackly synth loops and incantatory choruses. There, a tentative guitar and droning organ frame the mood for a world-weary voice while electronic droplets patter like moisture in an abandoned building.
I uploaded two new tracks, called “I Love Your Swingin’ in a Swing” & “Another Kiss, Another Night”.
*******
“I Love Your Swingin’ in a Swing” ; Partly polyrhythm of 3/4 & 4/4. ; Motown beats. ; I intentionally wrote so catchy melody with mainly using major keys (so this track is very different from my old works).
“Evening Dress (Another Kiss)” ; I tried to make a track like bossa nova, but the finished is nothing but a strange one… ; And it sounds obscene though I tried to make a elegant one… maybe factor’s a sound of guiro. ; Modulations will come twice. ; In the second interlude, there’s a section like trance music... BPM is over 300.

It will be nice if you give me your impressions… please check those over if you have a time. I’m looking forward to receiving your words.
See ya! [MATA-NE] (‘u‘)b -OMC from Tokyo- Classical / New Wave / Progressive
Everyone at indiecater records would like to wish you a happy summer and let you know that there is an indiepop song from the Very Most available to download FREE from our site!
Please let me introduce about my new track, "Visions in the Sky".
・・・・・・・・・・
・This track freely changes the tempo, like BPM 170 → 40 → 190 → (stacks 2 or 4) → 170 → 40.
・The main melody(4/4 rythum) is like classic music's one, but the low part(3/4 rythum) is like jazz-pop's one.
・In the latter half, this track becomes spacy, like 80's progressive hard rock・・・but I only used a piano sound. It will show you what are "visions". Raindrops, comets, clouds・・・Every image will be right.
Please let me take your spaces
・・・I made a new track called "A Order in Ripples".
・Finally this track reachs "Chopin meets Hard Rock", with only piano & drums.
・I used 3/4 time & 7/8 time besides 4/4 time in this track, but I tried not to be a show-off man
・・・so maybe you don't notice.
・This track starts with 170 BPM, but it slowly accelerates & finally it reachs over 220 BPM.
・This track contains two exact oppsites・・・one is very complicated but another is very simple.
・This track is very short, only 2.07 minutes.
・The name of this track briefly means its characteristic. At the end of this track, the order comes out. What's "A Order in Ripples"? You will easilly find the answer.
Maybe it rouses Bashou's famous Haiku, "Fulu-ike ya (古池や) …".
Let me know your impressions if you have time ('x')ノシ
Hey, it has been a long time since I saw you last.
I uploaded a new track, the master take of "Alexander". I changed plays of the base & a piano solo. The letter is the section of my favorite(BPM is about 174).
