Battle Of the bands 2008 Final Review @ The Horn Re Born:" Last up, Late Day Breakers..without going deaf from their screamin fanbase! these guys have studied what it's all about....versatility! the no-nonsense attitude to wow the crowd from every angle possible was a great insight, the two front vocalists ripped through the set like fire through a paper factory! The set was tight and displayed great musicianship, these guys really enjoy what they do...and so did everyone else! the quick slip into drum & Bass,hip-hop, was pure and showed they can flex the musical muscles as and when they feel like!
The winning title of Battle Of the Bands Pt12 goes to........LATE DAY BREAKERS! well deserved achievement was agreed by the judges and the public who have supported them all the way.

The Late Day Breakers Started off as a school band back in 2002, since then the sound of the band has changed completely, we have now matured with a great set of original songs behind us, as well as a whole set of classic covers. Our band is made of four main members, two guitarists/vocalists, bassist, drummer. We somtimes play acoustic sets and may have scratching, exta percussion, female vocals, oboe and flute on some later tracks, bringing this to stage when ever we can.
Each song in the set has its own individual sound, style & meaning. Varying from Soulful Acoustic songs to Fresh Funky Rock, Heavey Reggae, Explosive Blues & a touch of Chilled Jazz.With deeply giving harmonising vocals & meaningful lyrics, The Latedaybreakers have a truly pure mixture of sounds for everyone & anyone to enjoy ^_^
