Late Night Audio has
established a reputation as one of London’s best underground parties. The cream
of the scene have graced the turntables at various sweat soaked East End
underground venues, so it was only a matter of time before they started there
own label to release the music they love to dance to. xpect the finest in deep electronic house, balearic boogie and Italo
flavours, all expertly mastered onto luxurious vinyl with slick graphic
artwork.....
The first artist signed
and to be releases on the label is French/U.S producerKevinLemonnier, recording under the name Das Volt.This man uses no plug-ins and a
resolutely old skool production philosophy. Utilising
analogue-only signal paths and using only outboard and vintage gear. TheDas Volt sound harks back to a time when boogie and
black soul filled the air.....
Gestures is a modern
take on the electro boogie sound, pizzicato strings, silky Rhodes and fat bass
all blended to create a dance floor gem. Fantasy is a modern Italo disco classic, with epic piano’s setting the mood
over a driving trouser flapping bass line. Remixes on the vinyl of Gestures
come from the Telepazio Italian FabrizioMammarella, who does his deep electro funk turnout
with immediate dance floor effect, and Toby Tobias of Rekidsand
Late Night Audio who completes the vinyl package with the Balearic boogie
interpretation.....
Will Mills also delivers his interpretation of Gestures that will be
available in digital stores. Stripping back the beats he brings out the
musicality of Das Volt’s original even more, and this mix is
also bolstered by a string arrangement and jazzy live guitar playing.....

Here comes the new Pizzico Nobel release made on slanting hip hop vibes and subpoenas but stuffed with italo and electric shots, it reminds of something like end of 90's ninja tune stuff... no doubt Pizzico is still looking forward... and back as well. For the tenth PN release Billy wanted his prestigious remixers, friends and co-operators Enzo Ponzio, Ichisan & Nakova and young hooded "Sanaleik" project, a couple of young beat bandits that like to re-edit and deconstruct everything with a special 90's taste. Enzo's version sounds like a paranoid old fashioned underground tune, so deep and dirty; I&N's mix is like a fat and slow funk, at the top of their big talent. We hope to have made you curious enough...
