Since 1999, Late Night Radio, has been entertaining New England audiences with their mix of traditional & modern bluegrass, vintage country, and acoustic swing.
Diane Kordas brings the upright bass to the front of the band lineup with solid playing, smooth lead & harmony vocals, and superb song writing. Bob Kordas is an award winning banjo player & plays some incredible resophonic guitar, in addition to harmony vocals. George Ede contributes a country influence and his dazzling guitar playing to the band, along with lead & harmony vocals. Fred Fowler brings a strong traditional bluegrass flavor into the mix with his fiddle and vocals.
The band name recalls times when, late in the wee hours when stars shine and the moon is low, if you got that transistor radio turned just right, you could hear great old tunes that just aren’t played on pop airwaves...that is the music Late Night Radio plays.
Dropping by to say "hi." Hope we can meet one day a do a little jamming. After all, we play the same type of music and come from the bluegrass state of NH. Dig your tunes.
