The Funkiest Night in Cork happens EVERY Saturday night at the Everyman Palace Theatre. Get blown away with our explosive mix of music, games and ambiance!

In our main bar DJ Papa Cass and DJ Rabbit play all the hits from the 60s, 70s, 80s, 90s, including Soul, Funk, Disco, Rock and Roll and the best of those CHEESY hits that you just cant help loving! Hearing is believing!

If that doesn’t take your fancy, then check out our GAMES ZONE. We have Playstation, Connect 4, Guess Who?, Draughts, Snakes and Ladders, Chess, Poker and TWISTER!. Fun for all you kidults!

Or if you just want to relax with that someone special, then our ‘chill out zone’ is the place for you. Sip the night away on one of our beautiful cocktails or have a cool glass of champagne while smooching on one of our sofas in our intimate candle lit surroundings!

For the past twenty years The Everyman Palace Theatre have been serving up the very best in late night music sessions for the Jazz Festival and following on last years record breaking Jazz, M.V.M, in association with the Everyman Palace, are bringing you a real treat this weekend. Each night will offer two rooms, one with a very specialist Jazz band and the other will offer you something alternative for those who just want to dance their socks off! The best of Cork’s local talent will be performing over the two nights in the intimate surroundings of this Victorian Theatre. ‘Soul Driven’ will play a mix of Jazz, Soul and good old Rock and Roll in our Wiggle Room on Saturday night while ‘Introspection’ will play the very best of Jazz in our Green Room On Sunday ‘Introspection’ will be joined by Paul O Donnell on piano offering a unique take on all the Jazz standards in the Green Room, while the high energy jump jive swing band ‘The Roaring Forties’ take to the stage in the Wiggle Room. Doors will open at 11.45pm on both nights and a limited number of tickets will be available at the door.
