Michael married Jessica, who is in Dave's wife's dance troupe, Basimah Kamar. This led to a casual meeting, which then led to jamming at Dave and Klee's Yule party. A few months later, Michael was invited to play at a fundraiser and asked Dave to join him. We did one rehearsal, then played our first gig. That led to another fundraiser show request, which led to a second rehearsal, followed by a second gig - a 45 minute set of mostly original material. And hey, if we can perform that much material on that little rehearsal, we may as well form a band, right?
