BASEBALL... the greatest sport known to man. Check out www.akronredsox.com to see some old men living out their childhood dreams. I also like to keep up on politics. After years of study one things for sure... Republicans and Democrats have screwed politics up beyond belief. To them it's more about being right than doing what's right.
  • Music

You name it and I probably like it. From Relient K to Toby Keith. From MxPx to Zolof the Rock and Roll Destroyer. From Def Leppard to Paramore to Third Day... Did I leave any genre out??? I would have to say that The Cars are probably the most timeless band. If their songs came out today, they'd still be awesome.
  • Movies

    1. Ironman was awesome 2. Pulp Fiction 3. The Dark Knight 4. Gladiator. 5. National Treasure (1 and 2) 6. Dan in Real Life 7. Reign Over Me 8. The Prestige 9. Star Wars (all of em) Anything with Kate Beckinsale and/or Rachel Macadam. Besides my wife... they're the only other 2 women I could sit and stare at for hours.
  • Television

    1. The Shield (Vic Mackey makes being bad seem so good.) 2. 24 3. Fringe 4. Flip This/That House 5. The Sarah Conner Chronicles. 6. Medium 7. Smallville 8. Heroes 9. The A-Team 10. Airwolf 11. V Okay so I got a little nostalgic there at the end...
  • Books

The Bible. . Star Wars has a new series of books called "Legacy of the Force". It's about Han and Leah's Kids and Luke Skywalkers son Ben. They are every bit as good as both movie trilogies. Anything by Vince Flynn.
  • Heroes

My dad and my grandpa. 2 completely different men that I have spent many years trying to be like. I try to be the best of both and the worst of neither... VERY VERY HARD to accomplish some days.

About me:

Keeping it short and sweet... I love being a dad. I love having a career and not just a job. I love my God and the fact that he's given me so much to love. The Lord said that David "is a man after my own heart"... not a bad thing for God to say about you. Let's just call that one of my goals, for the Lord to say that Jason was "a man after his own heart". Update late '08: I try hard to NOT be like some who have influenced my life but I try harder to just be me. Expectations of people are a waste of effort. Forgiveness of self is reassuring, forgiveness of others brings peace, expecting forgiveness from others is another wasted expectation. I'm frustrated with the excuses others give for their behaviors while they are intolerant of my own. I am who I am and I work hard every day to be that way. I don't need a focus group, a popularity contest, or anyone telling me what I should or should not do to decide who I am or who I am going to be. I am wrong often an so are you. I CAN live with my mistakes but I HAVE to live with yours. Thank God that Jesus will forgive us both and save us from the evil we have committed against ouselves and each other.
