   About Lathe
On behalf of Lathe, we would like to send our most sincere apologies out to those who have been anxiously waiting for their debut release, Signs of Symmetry. We would also like to thank everyone for your continued support despite their inability to deliver you the goods. Frontman Jason Gallant put the project on hold for many reasons. He felt that the line up didn't reflect his vision of Lathe. "At the time it was obvious that everyone was headed in different directions... so that's what we did.", said Gallant in 2006. Much has happened since then. After being dead for almost two years Gallant has decided to put his vision back in motion. Gallant has rejoined forces with original rhythm man Gaby Poirier, bringing Lathe's authentic polyrhythmic sound back and more powerful than ever. Jay and Gab are preparing for time in the studio. Their plans are to record the album between the two of them, Jay on rhythm, leads, drums, and vocals. And Gab on rhythm and bass. With that being accomplished they expect to find suitable musicians to complete the circle. Once they are passed that they plan to record the album as a band. The release date for Signs of Symmetry has not yet been confirmed. With members missing it makes it difficult to see the future with clarity. Aside from all this uncertainty, Lathe is confident that band positions will be filled soon and that shows will be booked sometime in the fall of this year. Lathe hopes to finally justify the hype and replace it with bone crushing results. "We would like to remind all metal fans that your presence is felt and we appreciate it more than anything. We'll keep you posted. Thanks Again!" myspacelibrary.com
