Blurbs

About me:

I am a 34 year old multiracial Chicana born and raised in Los Angeles, California. For the past five years I have called Vancouver, Washington, a suburb of Portland, Oregon, home. For the next three years, I will be calling Wooster, Ohio home while I complete my bachelor's degree requirements at the College of Wooster (pronounced Wuster). I am double-majoring in Anthropology and History with a minor in Communications. My academic interests lay in the Chican@ Experience in the United States. After I graduate from C.O.W., I plan to attend graduate school and receive my doctorate and pursue a career as an author and college professor. If you have glanced at my photos you are aware that I am a Big and Beautiful Woman and I love it! I enjoy surrounding myself with like-minded individuals who are strong, intelligent, funny, carefree, caring, honest, and motivated. I am a woman who knows what she wants and is not afraid to go after it. I am currently single by choice, although, I am always open to meeting men for casual dating, when time permits. I am also interested in making new friends, so don't be shy and write me a message.

Who I'd like to meet:

I would like to meet President Barack Obama; Dr. Beverly Tatum, author and Spelman College President; Tim Wise, Anti-Racist ally; Oprah Winfrey; Maria Shriver; Christiane Amanpour; Dolores Huerta; Sandra Cisneros, Latina writer; Bill Richardson, New Mexico Governor and Commerce Secretary nominee; Bill Cosby; Cornell West, racism author and Princeton professor; Richard Rodriguez, Latino writer; Maya Angelou, Black poet, author, and activist; Ward Connerly, affirmative action opponent; Rudolfo Acuna, Chicano activist, professor, and author; finally, I would like to meet the Dalai Lama.
