About LATONIC
From Glasgow, Scotland, Latonic formed in the winter of 2002. Releasing a first EP independently, the band quickly acquired a small but loyal following. The Half Life EP, released in 2004, vastly expanded their audience, receiving airplay on several local stations as well as critical acclaim from several magazines & fanzines.
Following on from the local sucess of the Half Life EP Latonic released the singles "Twisted Devotion" & "Turn On The Sky" on Leicester based indie label Horus Music. Working again with producer Chris Gordon, the latter reached number 30 in the UK indie chart and sharpened the national focus on the Glasgow 5 piece.
During 2008 the band have worked tirelessly on new album "Desirable" and the record is just about ready to be released. Featuring 11 tracks including the single "Twisted Devotion" and other live favourites such as "Bleed Forever" & "Don..t Turn Off Your TV" 2009 is already shaping up to be a busy year for these five rock ..n rollers from Glasgow!
