La Trinchera // Artistas Plasticos

About me:

La Trinchera (2004): colectivo de artistas plásticos y promotores de arte; El grupo se forma en un inicio desde 2003, conocido anteriormente como "El Estudio" (o El Estudio de Meme) contando con 7 integrantes (en un inicio también formaron parte Rita vega y Fargo), tiempo después se compacta el grupo y se renombra como "La Trinchera" (27 de mayo de 2004), y se logra la primera alineación conformada por: Israel Villanueva (1979), Oscar Basulto (1975), Meme (1974), Fer Niragob (1975) y Jimbo Miramón (1976). En esta primera etapa participan en exposiciones y festivales en la ciudad de Guadalajara (Festival de Puertas Abiertas de Artistas, Festival de las Artes Libres en todas sus emisiones); en junio de 2005 viajan a Hamburgo, Alemania, para presentar "De sueños Guajiros" en Scorpion Gallerie, posteriormente continúa el trabajo y proyección de temática bajo la conjunción de la ecléctica plástica que los caracteríza. En mayo de 2007 inicia el proyecto "La Tarea", dinámica mediante la cual se elige un tema al azar -nombre, personaje histórico, palabra, frase, sustantivo, etcétera-, así como una fecha en días -entre 1 y 15- con el fin de ejercitar la creatividad, dejando la técnica y formatos a juicio de cada autor; en julio de 2007 Jimbo Miramón deja el colectivo y se suma Indira Castellón (1980). En enero de 2008 se hizo una pausa al proyecto "La Tarea" para recapitulación y revaloración del ejercicio, el cual está en vías de publicarse en internet y en El Teu Lloc -galería de arte en Guadalajara, Jalisco- de manera simultánea; los preparativos, así como la cuenta regresiva están por arrancar, teniendo como fecha estimada el 17 de marzo para el sorteo del tema, el 11 de abril la entrega -todos los ejercicios durarán ahora 25 días-, publicación en línea y montaje de las piezas en la galería. En paralelo los miembros de "La Trinchera" trabajan en sus carreras tanto en solitario como en colectivo, persiguiendo la vigencia y notoriedad creativo-plástica que los caracteriza; así mismo preparan futuras muestras en: Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Tampico, Querétaro y Los Cabos, por mencionar algunas. La Trinchera -The Trench-(2004): group of plastic and promoter artists; the group was made on its beginings since 2003, formally known as "El Estudio" -"The Workshop or Atellier" (Meme's Workshop or Meme's Atellier) counting with 7 members (on its beginings Rita Vega and Fargo where members), later, the group took shape and was renamed as "La Trinchera" -The Trench- (May the 27th, 2004), the first members were: Israel Villanueva (1979), Oscar Basulto (1975), Meme (1974), Fer Niragob (1975), Jimbo Miramon (1976). At that time, they had several art exhibitions and participated on art conventions in Guadalajara, Mexico (Festival de Puertas Abiertas de Artistas -Open Doors of Arists Festival-, Festival de las Artes Libres -The Free Arts Festival- both in all their emisions); on june 2005 they traveled to Hamburg, Germany, to present "De Sueños Guajiros" -About Guajiro Dreams- at Scorpion Gallerie -Scorpion Art Gallery- later they continued their work and display of thematic under their eclectic plastic art that identifies them. On may 2007 begun the project "La Tarea" -Homework-, a dynamic excercise in wich they pick a theme to work about -name, historic character, word, phrase, etcetera-, and also a date to deliver an art work -between 1 and 15 days-, just to excercise their creativity, leaving the media and format to each authors criteria; On July 2007 Jimbo Miramon left the group and took his place Indira Castellón (1980). On January 2008 a pause was made on "La Tarea's" -Homework's- project, pause made to view the charts, the project is about to be published on the internet and at El Teu Lloc -a local gallery in Guadalajara, México- at the same time; the ultimate details as the countdown are almost ready, having as a possible date march 14th to pick a theme and april 7th to deliver -all excercise will now last 25 days-, publish on line and exhibition of the art work at the gallery. The members of "La Trinchera" -The Trench- work on their personal careers and also as a group, having as a goal the state-of-the-art that had always identify them; they also are preparing future art displays and exhibitions in cities like: Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, Tampico, Querétaro and Los Cabos, just to mention a few.
