Laughing at the Sun came together from out of most extraordinary circumstances. Gunner Shore was playing in his weekly beer pong tournament when his partner suddenly passed out. Gunner was in dire need of a new partner, and there in the distance of the crowd he saw a tall, dark and handsome individual named Vinny Philipone. From that day on they ruled to beruit table, game after game. Vinny and Gunner were inseperable, and decided that their love for eachother could not grow stronger. During one remarkably long beer pong tournament in the town of Randolph MA, they met the man who would complete their duo. 2+1=3.This creature was of no human creation. He was sitting in the corner of the room watching the game from a distance and laughing hysterically. Gunner, in his usual upset manner accosted the laughing creature, but in no way could supress his vicious laughter. Gunner was impressed and asked the bastard if he could play the drums. The animal laughed and cryed from over laughter, until the moment Vinny handed him a pair of sticks. At which time he banged and boomed and thromped an old drumkit until it bled. Since this creature could not speak any english, or words that could be understood underneath the howl of his chuckles, Gunner and Vinny had to give him a name. They dubbed him Doogless because it was the closest thing they heard come out of his mouth that they could understand. Maybe it was his god given name, or maybe it was a piece of food stuck in his throat, but either way it made sense.
The trio began playing together, and soon new they were unstopable. They are still together to this day, and are playing bars, college campuses, and bar-mitzvahs as much as they can to spread their magical and enchanting sound.
