About me:

CURRENT PROJECTS

Darkness Rising - John Ryan is struggling. Six years ago he had a breakdown while working for the Lincolnshire and Humberside's CID police division. He found drink. Eventually he found love. Now, John and his wife Louise are living in London, she is a teacher and he is working for Scotland Yard's newest unit, the Violent Crimes Division. Modeled on the FBI's own VCD, it is the first unit in the UK to allow its detectives to carry handguns. John's marriage is falling apart, he is drinking again and a prolifice serial killer thought dead has taken an interest in him, calling the Luminary.

Powerless - Jack Burton has fucked up his life, all because of a girl. He spends his days working a dead end job in a warehouse with his friend and housemate Walt. He spends his night sitting in his car outside of his ex-girlfriends flat, hoping that she might come over to him, hoping that he might get the courage to go and knock on her door and convince her that their relationship is worth saving... even though it has been over for six months. Then one fateful night, a stolen car and a bolt of lightning changes Jack's fate forever and throws him into the path of a manic, suicidal depressive named Cate. Love, loss, suicide and superpowers!

The Girl At The Centre Of Creation - A girl discovers that there is a secret war going on behind the brick wall between good an evil as they battle for her soul. For she is the balance that keeps the world the way it is.

Nowhere Land - Hope Falls is empty, everyone has gone. Not a soul is left, not a soul except those belonging to Jack Burton and a 16 year old girl named Bethany who is looking for her family. Where has everyone gone? As the two attempt to find their loved ones, they discover that something sinister lurks after dark that may answer that question for them...

PREVOUSLY

The Lonely Ones - A short story about the last vampire in the last city on earth just as death is about to swallow both. Based upon Thom Gunns 'In Praise of Cities'. This short appeared in a US literay zine called Revelation, and subsequently went on to be collected in an anthology book entitled Revelation Volume 1.

Short films - INSIDES - I co- wrote the short film 'Insides' with its director Dan Gitsham. A dark and atmospheric horror film about a lonely man and the insides that are about to come out!
