Laughing Sam's Dice is based in Kingsport TN. LSD's debut CD has been a long time coming but is now available, June 18th 2009 being the release date. Joe Gardner and Chris Todd have played together for years off and on in various bands, since 1990. Chet Lemons entered in 2003 with the thoughts of reforming a disbanded Lovechild, who had one release in 1995 called "Generation Genocide". It was decided that this band needed a new identity. Enter Laughing Sam's Dice (LSD) inspired by the Jimi Hendrix song "The Stars That Play With Laughing Sam's Dice".
The band is now ready to roll for gigs. Keep a check for dates and venues to be added. LSD plays half original and half covers and will do 3 sets or 3 hours straight through (the latter being our preference). Who's Rufus Huff? Named after two obscure Blues men Whistlin' Rufus and Luther Huff, the Glasgow, Kentucky-based Blues Rock quartet is made up of Dean Smith, Chris Hardesty, Jarrod England and Greg Martin, known for his raucous, incendiary electric guitar playing in the South's hardest country rockers, The Kentucky HeadHunters.
