About me: After 18 years of showcasing hilarious stand-up comedy, The Laugh Resort has decided to call it quits.
Although we were asked to vacate our space at The Holiday Inn, it was decided to close, rather than relocate.
So, thank you to everyone: the comics who gave us so many wonderful memories and years of laughter; the patrons who supported the club and the comics, and gave us a reason to exist.
I was walking right in the heart of downtown Toronto the other night when I bumped into a few people on the street who had just seen a show at the Laugh Resort. They couldn't stop raving about it! Apparently they have big name headliners and a wonderful staff.
Anyway, I think I'll go check out a show. What have I got to lose?
Oh, yeah, they also said that the prices at the Laugh Resort are more than reasonable.
I can tell how much I like a girl based on how much time I spend getting ready to see her. If I shower, I'm into you... but if I just put on more deoderant, we should probably see other people!
