Along with my story of how I got started below I have decided to dedicate alot of what I do into doing various fundraisers for many different diseases all over the world. Although I have done many in the past and continue to do them from time to time on top of regular appearances and gigs, I feel that this is one of the main reasons for me becoming a lookalike and I should do what I can to help in any way to try and raise money to find a cure or to beat these diseases that effect so many each an every day. Both my parents have been effected by a form of cancer and recently lost my father to it as well, so now more than ever is my time to "FIGHT for CANCER" and other diseases and do what I can. Thank you for your friendship.. Thanks for stopping by I hope you enjoy my page!! I am from CT ..My family is from The Bronx and Brooklyn where they moved to Huntington,Long Island. (Interesting fact for those who are true Mariah fans. as you would know that Mariah is also from Long Island.) When Mariah first hit the scene with the video "Vision of Love", I started to get alot of double takes. Absolute strangers would approach me with comments such as-"Has anyone ever told you that you look so much like Mariah?" and are you " Mariah Carey?" No matter where I went. So I was encouraged and decided to enter look-a-like contests and actually won..I still to this day can't believe that because like Mariah in ways as a child I was not excepted by others because I was different..(I guess)..Mariah was different and not excepted due to her color/race of her parents etc and I was not excepted because I was picked on made fun of even beat up until I fought back and told I was not good enough or pretty enough for some kids..and childhood was bad back then but alot different now..maybe I will tell the full story in a blog on day or share it with Mariah... I never realized that I could take my Look-a-Like status any further than just having fun back in highschool and that's when it all happened.... I was at work and a customer in the waiting room was viewing the Ricki Lake show and the topic was about celebrity look-a-likes.She suggested I go on the show.I decided to go on the show despite being a bit shy and feeling like there was no way "someone like me could do that" It was simply AMAZING! Since my first appearance on the Ricki Lake Show ,I have also appeared on many other talk shows about celebrity lookalikes, such as: The Maury Povich Show, Debra Dunkin, Queen Latifa,Access Hollywood,and more which has gotten me noticed by many talented agents in the business of Celebrity Lookalikes.I have had greatest opportunities performing all over the country as well as traveling overseas for Japanese Television.I still can not believe I had the opportunity to go to Japan!!To this day I still can't believe it! Being a Professional lookalike has changed my life and opened so many doors to allow me to help others as well and aside from doing great gigs I get to help in may ways I otherwise wouldn't be able to do and that I am so grateful for. I have had the greatest pleasure of meeting so many other talented lookalikes and performers along my journey and I hope to someday actually meet Mariah Carey as that would truly be the ultimate experience! I have decided since I look like someone famous why not do good with it and give back as much as I can and help others as much as I can when I can?? Why not right? So many of you have said it would be amazing to actually see a professionally made up photo of us both side by side! Imagine that????????? How awesome would that be..Hey you never know! One can dream right? Now the only thing missing is that ultimate man in my life, one who ejoys life as much as I do and wants to enjoy it together...
