NEW SONG: "Won’t You"--Music by Marcus Pendergrass, Lyrics and Vocals by Laurabella, and featuring Malcolm Dendtler (from Lynchburg VA and Brooklyn NY) on live Drums and Percussion.
I do piano, vocals and violin, and have just acquired a beautiful mandolin. You can check my website for more background details: www.laurabellajazz.com.
CONCERNING all the music on this page:
"Come Back to Me" and "Feel Your Heart" are co-produced with SHAYAR (from Jamaica, New York and Beckley, West Virginia) and you can hear SHAYAR on guitar and mandolin in these songs. "Chill" is produced by Marcus Pendergrass--master musican and mathematician based in Farmville, Virginia. He has created the music and I have created the lyrics and recorded the vocals, and we are featuring Malcolm Dendtler on drums. Lastly, "I Wonder", a blues ballad composed, arranged and produced by Laurabella in 2003, features Bert Carlson on guitar, the late Lenny Martin on double bass, Jimmy Lax on drums and yours truly playing piano/vocals. These musicians are from the Roanoke, Virginia area.
