LauraBell is currently in Nashville working on music.
Her debut country album titled "Longing for a Place Already Gone" was released in June of 2007.
LauraBell most recently starred as Elle Woods in Legally Blonde The Musical on Broadway. She also starred as Sherrie Christian in the musical Rock of Ages in Los Angeles. Her Broadway credits include the Tony award-winning Hairspray, in which she originated the role of "Amber Von Tussle", and Wicked, in which she played Glinda. As a child Laura originated the role of Tina Denmark in the off-Broadway musical Ruthless, for which she received Outer Critics Circle and Drama Desk nominations for Outstanding Actress in a Musical. Other theater credits include Gypsy and The Sound of Music.
LauraBell's television credits include the role of Marah Lewis on Guiding Light from 1999-2001. Her other television credits include Cold Case, Veronica Mars and Strangers with Candy. Her film credits include Dreamgirls, Jumanji, Life with Mikey, and The Adventures of Huck Finn.
