Hey Laura! I haven't commented you in a long time! Sorry about that. I've been so busy with college and then my summer has been busy too. I just stopped by to say hi and Happy Belated 4th of July! I had a great one. I went to a club with my grandparents (we belong to Hidden Valley Country Club in Salem) for dinner, and we saw the fireworks too. They were AMAZING!!! My grandmother took pictures for me, and they turned out really good! I uploaded them on here.
I've had an awesome summer so far. Earlier this summer, my grandparents went on a cruise. I didn't go though. I stayed with my aunt in DC. It was so much fun! She took me out to eat twice, bought me slurpies (yummy) and I got to sing for her class. She teaches at an elementary school for kids with disabilities. I sang "This Is Me" by Demi Lovato. The kids were sooo nice! And they wanted me to sing more, but I didn't have anything else on my karaoke CD that I had prepared. So I sang two songs a capella, "Ave Maria" and "You Raise Me Up." It was so fun! Then, on June 5, my granddad took me to a Celtic Woman concert, which was AWESOME!!! We were in the second row. The songs were amazing. Celtic Woman is one of my favorite Irish groups. A couple of their songs made me cry! My granddad even bought me their "A New Journey" DVD there. Then, a couple weeks later, I went to the beach with my grandparents, my sister Bailey, and my aunt from DC. I had so much fun! I got some new clothes, played in the ocean, hung out with my sister, went to my favorite restaurant there (Sea Merchant's) and went to karaoke! I got plenty of pictures taken and put them on here as well. It was so much fun!
And this Friday is my 22nd birthday!!! I'm so excited! My mom is coming over (I live with my grandparents) to give me my birthday present and some cake! I have a feeling it's another one of Celtic Woman's concert DVDs (yay)! H
