About me: So...I'm pretty uninteresting. I have a degree in Philosophy, which means I am probably going to live in a box, but i'll ask a lot of questions along the way! I worked in Human Resources for 8 months and found that it just wasn't for me...so I moved to Quebec and studied French to eventually become a French teacher! I've just finished Teacher's College, and am now a real, certified(unemployed) teacher! Yay! (If you have any teaching job opportunities you'd like to share, I'm all ears!)
In my spare time I produce/host a Canadian specialty show on a really cool online radio station based out of New York, called BreakThru Radio. If you are a Canadian indie band and you are interested in being played on my show, send me a MESSAGE either on myspace or at LauraCChord (at) breakthruradio.com - I would love to hear from you! The shows are archived, and playlists are up on my blog if you want to see what other amazing Canadian bands have been involved!
Who I'd like to meet: Friends, any bands that are willing to have people give their music a chance, or anyone who loves music as much as I do.
I edited my profile with Thomas Myspace Editor V4.4 (www.strikefile.com/myspace)

A few years ago, this person with the most awesome pink-tights added me as a friend. Then I realized, she had a radio show, informative, entertaining. You know, it's people like this that make the music scene thrive. Happy Holidays Laura.
