We live in broken times. So no wonder we often feel like we’re falling to pieces. 0-o Ugh. The funny thing is, we try to patch those cracks in ourselves with things that don’t really fill them. In fact, they usually end up making those crevices deeper. And wider. I don't know, maybe our brokenness is by design. I know for me, when I came to that realization, when I truly embraced it, it brought me closer to the truth. The Gift of Brokenness is about that journey. In a way, each song is a piece of me, as I took myself apart and put myself back together again. It’s about dealing with anger, despair and fear. And ultimately, it’s about joy and hope and healing. And even though it’s about my personal struggle with addiction, it’s really become more of a mirror held up to these broken times we live in. So everyone seems to see a little piece of themselves in it. If you're interested, you can see my videos and press on my website at www.lauracmusic.com. And even hear or buy my music if you like. Thanks for letting me share a little piece of myself with you. LauraC ★★★ I TUNES : http://www.tunecore.com/music/lauracmusic My YOUTUBE CHANNEL: http://www.youtube.com/user/LauraCBrokenChannel -

Thanks. It was vacation in Branson last summer. I think you all should come to Nebraska to enjoy Christmas, and Mark can enjoy the country life. ;)
Love you guys so much. Good to see you over here. You never know when we will make it back your way! Miss you!
Hey, my dear! Way to go! When do we get to see you guys? Blessings on you for blessing so many others! Lotsa love to you!
Call me any time girl! Bless you and huggies!
GORGEOUS, (sigh) I'm in my own pain, however, I LOVE YOU dearly. I listen to your music daily. (as you know) .... Just showing some major love to you. I miss talking to you. LOVE LOVE U
Hey Laurac, I love your eyes, I know they can stare through my thoughts. The skin I shed is a perfume that makes water bubbles so terribly clear to me. You are dressed with filaments and people take pains to make you fully incandescent this evening. I find your eyes to be a wondrous amusement park filled with neo-plastic pleasures and turkish delights. If I could have just one wish, it would be to wake up to your songs in the morning. Your cleverness helps me breathe without the need of oxygen. Your reflections bring happiness that rends naked glass. Your intoxicating reflection can but incorporate freely into the powerful surface of a disintegrating mirror set afloat upon a swarm of locusts. The elves that play in the toasters wash their drum sticks in honey and sing strikingly colored anthems in perfect harmonious pleasure. Your beauty is multiplexed in contemplation of your multidimensional effervescence. May you always have stables of horses to service your needs. How it passes there and back again like a tear drop glistening in moonlight.
How did the big Recovery show go?! I'm sure you killed 'em.
