Sending and receiving mail, having a myriad of ideas and not getting around to doing anything about them, crafting (crafting and more crafting), reading, entertaining my cats (Poppy and Lola, who can be found in the "about me" section opposite), worrying, visiting the cinema, making children's books, charity shopping, stockpiling craft materials and other oddities...
I have a hobby (if you could call it that) of looking at crafters' blogs and websites. This is surprisingly addictive. Here are some nice ones to get you started if you fancy trying it. inside a black apple kitty genius (one of her bearded men designs looks just like Graham and I love it! I also have it hanging on my wall. Yippee!) wee wonderfuls (amazing patterns and some of them are free! Everyone I know will own a pointy kitty before the year is out...) ann wood (lovely birds) futuregirl (I've been making felt octopuses/octopi from her pattern lately - they're so great!) my paper crane (fun fun fun!) And here is whip up, a collaborative crafty blog that I stumbled across. It has lots of fun ideas on it and even tutorials on how to complete some of the projects.
adopt your own virtual pet here! but in the meantime please take beryl out of her basket and stroke her, feed her and play with her. Beryl is a cat who thrives on attention and will reward you with hearty purring.
Books
This is such a nice idea - you leave books in public places for other people to find and (by registering yourself and the book at this website for free) can track the book's life as it's picked up and set free again... (However, nobody registered finding the book that I left and it made me so sad. I'm psyching myself up to try again.)
Hello Miss Donald. How are you? Things here are fine. Enjoying being at work in such fine weather... Hope everything is good. Enjoy your birthday weekend.
Hey there. Giving up on myspace eh? I must admit, I very rarely use it either. I use Bebo more. It’s pretty good. Do you have an e-mail address?
Things are cool here. I just got back from 2 weeks in Egypt. Had a training course that I was teaching at… eek. It went well though and I got to see the Pyramids, which was nice.
As for your dream, hmm, not really sure what to make of that. The big hug sounds reasonably normal but not sure about the statement. What have you been up to young lady? Anything naughty? I am slightly concerned at the character you’re subconscious has cast me in.
Well your new profile is very impressive - I'm impressed. Somebody has deleted 'Everybody wants to rule the world' from myspace, so I'm off to find a new song.
