One of Laura Ivancie's first gigs in front of a real audience was less than a year ago. After several years of singing mostly in the shower, Laura has finally opened the door to the stage. Laura Ivancie & the Baaad Lambs feature up and coming talent and menacing musicianship lying somewhere in bed with sultry jazz, blues and alternative folk, with particular fascination in human relationship. It is not uncommon for Laura and the Baaad Lambs to witness audience members crying, aroused, provoked, awakened or inspired. The music must sound really baaad because after only four months as a band, they were invited to open for international acts "An Horse" and "Wintersleep" at Lola's room (Crystal Ballroom, PDX). Laura & the Baaad Lambs create 'good for the soul' music for listeners that appreciate the many facets of light and dark in life. The lyrics are honest and deep and the band's overall presentation is a rare cut of meat.

Thank you, Laura. I have nothing booked yet, I'm new in town and just starting to hook up with other local players. I had a listen to your song queue. I particularly enjoyed listening to "Drive Through Window", very clever songwriting indeed. Your voice is very distinctive and your back up sound is nice, simple and earthy, just the way I like it.
Just checking in to see when I can have my next "Bad Ass Laaaamb Experience". Where the heck is Toyota in Portland?... Your gig listed for October 15th.
hi songbird it's nicole from psgw - i'm trading in my destiny page and going with my genuine name. the mars song is the one i tried to perform accoustically at camp - yikes so many people.
