I'm Laura Kidd, professional bassist / singer / songwriter / videographer / photographer / social media queen / general busyperson, based in South London but always up for nipping off elsewhere to make noise or capture other people doing so.
I spent summer 2008 travelling the known world playing bass for Tricky and having a marvellous time, and have previously played and sung live with Lil' Chris, Alex Parks and Duncan James (I've also performed 'non-live' with lots of people you might have heard of including A-Ha, Mousse T, Phixx, Haddaway and Nathan Moore).
After playing in underground bands forever I've been having a fun couple of years going solo with my own music - She Makes War - and collaborating with a number of top producers on some electroey poppy tunes:
