What do singers Joss Stone, Jamie Cullum, Diana Krall and US rapper Ty have in common? The answer, all of them are amongst the thousands who have paused to listen to and offer words of encouragement to Liverpool’s latest singing sensation, Laura Leigh.
Whilst singing to the hairbrush and watching Pop Idol may be the closest that most 16 year olds get to the world of celebretary singing stars, for one Toxteth Teenager, the future looks brighter.
Laura Leigh,16, of Toxteth, is turning heads and attracting a growing audience of admirers through her myspace website. From Liverpool to LA, a growing number of fans, record producers and celebratiesds are praising a 16 year who writes, sings and plays her own songs with a maturity that has led to her being compared to her hero singer/songwriter Alicia Keys. Laura Leigh’s talents have led to interest from a number of record labels and A&R.Laura is currently working with a producer who works for Notting hill publishing.The first song is done now :) it is called Reminisce hope like it :D
