Laura Michaels was born and raised in the beautiful mountains of Western North Carolina. She started performing professionally at age 16 using her experience as a dance choreographer, actress, and singer to get work with many different stage companies. In her early 20's Laura got a guitar and the rest was history. She started putting music to original lyrics and melodies she had compiled while networking with local singer/songwriters to better understand the trade.
