Like-Minded Thinkers
This election season has awakened me to ideas and ideals that had been stirring for a long time. It can be considered uncouth to mix business and politics, but part of my purpose in life is to be an agent of change...which includes beginning or furthering the conversation about what is happening in our country (and under our noses) and around the planet, regardless of the potential discomfort it may cause. Whether you agree with me or not, I'd love to create courageous conversations about all relevant topics, regardless of how your position compares to mine.

My writing & editing specializations include Web copy, articles, media releases, PowerPoint presentations, reports, and creative business communications. I have specific interest and experience in marketing for small-business owners and entrpreneurs who want to step up, claim their expertise, garner visibility, and play a bigger game, as well as those in the holistic health/fitness/nutrition industry.

Referral Sources
If, in your own networking, you know of speakers, coaches, writers, infopreneurs who feel they are missing the boat because they don't yet have a book, I would love to talk with them! Web designers with clients who don't understand that they are responsible for writing their own content, or folks you hear bemoaning the fact that their Web copy just isn't communicating the way they want it to — send them to Words Made Easy! Small business owners and/or entrepreneurs who would like to capitalize on the outstanding exposure and SEO boost that comes from select article placement are among those we can help with their positioning.

Readers/Contributors for New Online Magazine
One Planet Magazine is a new online project that will change the world as we know it. Backed by a relatively new Phoenix-based organization known as The Fusion, the magazine's purpose is to effect global, progressive change, beginning at the grassroots level. One person at a time...from the smallest of things, like letting the car in front of you merge into your lane, holding the door for the guy or gal walking into the store behind you, smiling at a stranger, saying please and thank you...to the GRAND visions that will change the way we do relationships, art, energy, politics, education, social justice, and everything in between.

One Planet is a magazine for those individuals intent on changing the world. It is specifically aimed at the moderate 60-80 percent of the population who are looking for guidance in all 12 areas that constitute the whole of any community:

3. Economics & Business
4. Environment & Infrastructure
5. Governance & Law
6. Health & Wellness
7. Learning & Education
8. Relationship & Empowerment

We publish monthly, and each issue addresses all 12 segments, with one specific segment taking prominence and acting as a theme for that issue. At present, we are online only, but we have a goal of moving to bound, printed issues by Spring 2007.

One Planet Magazine is accepting submissions of poetry, photos, art, recipes, and articles that correspond to any of our 12 sections. We are particularly interested in pieces of a national/international nature that explore a problem and offer a ..solution... We are about inclusion, not exclusion. We will limit our political commentary and, while most of our participants/ contributors take a progressive political position, the magazine will make no attacks or swipes at anyone on either side of the political aisle, simply because of his/her politics. The articles can range in word length from 200 to 1,200 words and must be more objective/hard news with corresponding research than opinion-laced, first-person pieces.
