I started piano and ballet lessons when I was 8. Today, I’m 15, a singer, songwriter and also a trained dancer and pianist. I’m a piano student at the UFRJ Music School, in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil. Classical music ain’t no day at the beach, but it really helps improve my songwriting skills.
I love dancing and ballet has helped me gain experience in performing before big crowds with no stage fright at all. Dancing was how I found out the stage is where I belong.
Thanks to a Fulbright scholarship awarded to my mother, I lived in the United States, in Edina, MN, in 2005/2006, when I wrote my first pop rock song with my brother Lucas, who’s currently 17. I've written over 20 (twenty) original songs in partnership with my brother Lucas.
Most of my songs are autobiographical and so, as I' m going through a romantic phase, there’s no mistake: my latest songs are all about love! Hope you’ll connect and enjoy!

Começei a estudar piano e dança aos 8 anos. Hoje, aos 15, sou cantora e compositora, além de bailarina e pianista. Sou aluna de piano clássico na Escola de Música da UFRJ. Música erudita não é exatamente a minha praia, mas os fundamentos ajudam muito na hora de compor.
Além do piano, adoro dançar e o balé me ensinou a amar o palco.

Hi Laura! Thanks for sending your Christmas wishes! I was just listening to your song "Write Me Soon". It is amazing to think you, only 15, work with your brother of only 17 and to think of brother and sister working together - so wonderful. You both write such an uplifting song(s), and your other one with the video too. The guitarist is good and all the instrumentation and your piano playing is great too.... You play circles around me ha! After a year of living in basements of two houses, some friends, last my brother's, and now finally two weeks in my own apartment actually only a short distance east of Edina in an area called South St. Paul. First time MySpace took my 16 minute title song, "Red Sky At Night", so I just added it. It must be a new upgrade MySpace added as before many of my song files were too big to upload. A store had my "Over The Rainbow" CD for $88 at Amazon... couldn't believe it! Merry Christmas to you and your family, and thanks for presenting your fine music to the world! Felice Navidad! Michael
