LAURA SALESA, Santander (Spain) 1979. Graduated on Advertising and Public Relations (2002). Laura has worked as a TV Reporter, a press Journalist, a Marketing Assistant for the Music Industry and, most recently, as a Graphic Designer. Laura Salesa moved to London in October 2005 and she is currently working as a Graphic Designer in an Advertising agency. Her creative skills go further from the graphics. She has collaborated as a singer for The Draughty jabber..s second and third albums, has directed several short films and music videos and has posed as a model for Bubi Canal (www.myspace.com/bubicanal). We're playing at the O2 Islington Academy 2, as the supporting act of The Foxes on their UK tour! The gig will be on the 26th of June (Friday) at 6:30pm. Entrance for the gig is £8, but it's only £6 if you'll be on my limited guestlist. If you want to be on it, let me know who's coming with you, and I'll put your names on the guestlist. It's such a mint venue, I really hope you can be there!:) If you haven't yet, you can check out some live footage of new songs on my Myspace (just scroll down and you'll see it). The place is Cobden Club in Notting Hill. You don't wanna miss this one! The gig will be taking place on Thursday the 2nd of April at 9:10pm. Hope things are going well:) My band was chosen to be a part of the Surface Unsigned Festival (www. surfaceunsigned. co. uk), out of thousands of bands who signed in. We are performing on the 1st stage of the festival on the 11th of March (Wednesday) at 7PM at Boston Music Rooms ( 178 Junction Road, London, N19 5QQ). It'd be great to see you and get your support, as the audience can choose it's favourite bands of the night, so you have the power to help us qualify to the next stage! A ticket to the festival costs £7, but if you tell me you're coming I can reserve you a £6 ticket. If you haven't yet, come check out all the praises my band and I have been getting from industry people, radio producers/presenters etc. (just look at the left side of the Myspace and scroll down).
