After leaving her band Surrender Dorothy, which opened for the 1999 Lilith Fair with Sarah McLachlin and Sheryl Crow, Laura has pursued her solo career and has released 4 albums. Through her independent label, Lolo Records, she has toured the West coast and Midwest including: Tempe Town Lake opening for Sarah Buxton and Michelle Branch, The Marque Theatre opening for The Peacemakers, The Rhythm Room with Garrison Star, and performing at Phoenix Hard Rock Cafe and Knitting Factory in Hollywood. She was personally asked by Edwin McCain on 08 Cayamo Cruise to perform before his set. Laura also composed the original soundtrack for the controversial coming out story “An Intimate Friendship” with music also by Melissa Etheridge.
Laura’s hauntingly beautiful voice has been recognized by numerous publications and the media. In Laura’s new self entitled album, she examines the life she once knew and confronts her demons through a journal entry format of sorts supported by numerous established artists including: Grammy award winning drummer, Dan Marfisi and Josh Neumann on the cello, who is currently on tour with Brandi Carlile. Laura is a fearless artist who puts her entire self out there reaching an audience beyond the boundaries of sex, race and religion.

Hey looking forward in seeing your next show but I have to say one thing that everyone is always asking to burn your cd and I say over my dead body, I just tell people they have to buy one and not burn it. And I got another musician checking out your show. I told her that if it were not for you, I would of not found her.
Laura -- Thanks a trillion for coming out to Dos Gringos on Friday night. That was our first night playing in the main bar, and it helped to have some friendly faces and great singers on hand.
JUST WANT TO SAY THANK YOU. FOR THE TIME THAT YOU HAVE SHARED WITH ME, AND ALL OF THE ADVICE. YOU ARE SO GREAT! I AM SO GLAD THAT I GOT TO KNOW YA... LOOKING FOWARD TO SEE YA AGAIN.
Ok so we should get together at some point. LOL We need to discuss a plan for pride. We never got to finish that conversation. I'll try and get in touch this weekend maybe. Talk soon!
