What sets Laura apart from other musicians? It’s very simple. She has something to say and she knows how to say it. After leaving her band Surrender Dorothy, which opened for the 1999 Lilith Fair with Sarah McLachlin and Sheryl Crow, Laura has pursued her solo career and has released 4 albums.
Laura’s raw vocals and ruthless honesty not only reflect her own journey, but force you to see your own through ruthless honesty and childlike images. Laura’s vocals are original and passionate which parallels her guitar, while the piano introduces another layer of technical and melodic grace. Laura’s hauntingly beautiful voice has been recognized by numerous publications and the media.
In Laura’s new self entitled album, she examines the life she once knew and confronts her demons through a journal entry format of sorts supported by numerous established artists including: Grammy award winning drummer, Dan Marfisi and Josh Neumann on the cello, who is currently on tour with Brandi Carlile.
Laura is a fearless artist who puts her entire self out there reaching an audience beyond the boundaries of sex, race and religion.

Hey guess what, so I'm probably sending Nicole out to see my mom this summer, which means we get to hang out kiddo free.
