Languages, cultures, food, learning new things (for the most part), music, my husband, my family. I have some great friends who have been true for years. Some of them on here I have been friends with since before I was five years old, some I met as recently as this year... and I love you all!!! Singing is my passion... well, singing with a MESSAGE of hope that is found in Jesus Christ is my passion. To see one me singing one of my favorite songs, check out my videos section of my profile. There's a nice surprise at the end. I'll let you know we were in Russia...
Music
All music. I love jazz, bluegrass, christian, opera, etc. I think bluegrass and jazz musicians are some of the most brilliant people alive. My life has been greatly influenced by both classical and southern gospel music, which you will know if you know me! And, some of the best musicians I know are right in my very own family. :) And, I am proud of them all!
Movies
You've Got Mail is my all time fav. Meg Ryan is the classic all-American girl, and I wish she was doing more movies still! I really like documentaries (seriously, I do). End of the Spear was awesome, as was its documentary, Beyond the Gates of Splendor. World Trade Center. Every American should watch this movie. My favorite movies as a kid were Big Bird Goes To China and Peter Pan starring Mary Martin (the broadway version with real people).
Television
The Cosby Show... I now have seasons 1 and 2 on DVD thanks to Andrew (what a good man!), The new American Gladiators (I'm hooked!) 24...can't wait for that to start up again, American Idol (duh, of course), Anything that Samantha Brown does (like Passport to Europe or Great Hotels), America's Castles, CSIs, Law and Order (both)
Books
I must admit I prefer magazines (sigh). Namely In Style and Martha Stewart Living. However, I am currently Reading "I'd like to believe, but..." and when I finish that the next one on deck is "Voices Behind the Veil" by Ergun Mehmet Caner... if you don't know anything about him, you should google him and find out who he is. What a fascinating person! I also enjoy picking up old books we read when I studied French in school like Le Petit Prince and Le Gloire de Mon Pere and Le Moulin. I just got Alice in Wonderland and Charlie and the Chocolate Factory in French, so those should be a good challenge for me.
Heroes
Grandma Sadie Pearl Williams (deceased), My Grandaddy Mosie Lister, still alive and writing his heart out, Andrew, my husband, who is in the Navy, and last but not at all least God for sending His Son Jesus to die for the sins of the world. That's the reason I live and why I do what I do. Ask me about it anytime... seriously. I'm so grateful for those of you who already have.

Who I'd like to meet: Anyone and everyone... bring it on! I think our diversity is a beautiful thing and that each person was wonderfully made the way they are for a reason my our Maker. If I don't already know you, I'd love to get to meet you!
Thank you soo much!!! I love you guys! I can't believe we're both vegetarians! I eat fish ever now and then though... soo. I've been a vegie for about 5 or 6 years now. But I hope you have a wonderful vegetarian Christmas! These holidays are sometimes tough, but we get through it right?!?! LOL :)
GOD IS our Refuge and Strength [mighty and impenetrable to temptation], a very present and well-proved help in trouble. THEREFORE WE WILL NOT FEAR, THOUGH THE EARTH SHOULD CHANGE and THOUGH THE MOUNTAINS BE SHAKEN into the midst of the seas, Though its waters roar and foam, though the mountains tremble at its swelling and tumult. Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! There is a river whose streams shall make glad the city of God, the holy place of the tabernacles of the Most High. GOD IS IN THE MIDST OF HER, SHE SHALL NOT BE MOVED; GOD WILL HELP HER RIGHT EARLY [at the dawn of the morning]. The nations raged, the kingdoms tottered and were moved; He uttered His voice, the earth melted. THE LORD OF HOSTS IS WITH US; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our Fortress and High Tower). Selah [pause, and calmly think of that]! Come, behold the works of the Lord, Who has wrought desolations and wonders in the earth. He makes wars to cease to the end of the earth; He breaks the bow into pieces and snaps the spear in two; He burns the chariots in the fire. Let be and BE STILL, AND KNOW (recognize and understand) THAT I AM GOD. I WILL BE EXALTED AMONG THE NATIONS! I WILL BE EXALTED IN THE EARTH! The Lord of hosts is with us; the God of Jacob is our Refuge (our High Tower and Stronghold). Selah [pause and calmly think of that]!
Hi Laura :) Pray things are going well in your neck of the woods! Blessings...
That sounds like you had a great BDay. By the way have you heard the news, we won our volleyball game last night. At least we know we got 1 win in this year.
Hello hello:) I guess that's a good question...and I guess it is kind of my responsibility since Aaron Miles d-horned out of being president our senior year...I'll keep you posted. What do you think we should do? The only people I care about seeing are you, Michele, Jessica, and Billy...can we have our own reunion?:)
