Last weekend, Sunday March 15, Discovery made its final journey into space, before retirement, from Kennedy Space Center, Merritt Island on the east coast of Florida. These are pictures I took from the causeway that leads to Merritt Island.
Three and a half million people held their breath and waited, on the surrounding beaches and causeways, for Discovery's scheduled launch after sunset.
Sharing the joy of that moment... Let your dreams soar up and out into the universe... If you can hold your dreams in your thoughts then you CAN hold them in your hands.

7 years ago I wrote this poem to awaken people to the meaning of the number 2, on the day of feb 22, 2002... a day when there was no celebration for its deepest meaning.. its symbolism of Love.
Lets all Celebrate the meaning of 2 today, and hope it has greater meaning for mankind in the future, and is celebated to do something profound today.. in the name of Love~
the day of two's 02/22/02
I have two eyes to see and two ears to hear and there are two halves of my brain which didn't plan on you today yet you came unexpectedly.
Today we should of celebrated to share amongst ourselves your deepest meaning.
Everything seems to be created with two's for this is part of our creation. from our DNA to our fingertips and toes and everything that seems to grow or duplicate itself into the known
God must love you that's all I can think when all creation has two of something and in most cases only two
I think you made us all feel dumb when you came unexpectedly today and we all forgot about you I hope we don't do the same thing in the year of 2222.
I wonder where I will be... maybe this was the last chance to express how I love you.
I think you are part of infinity. or what must make time tick and a child grow or two lovers feel the way they do touching each other feeling two of everything and then to become one a perfect unity of love.

When I look around, and see my circle of friends, and see how successful they are, it makes me smile.. when I feel the love and flowing energy and excitement around, it makes joy overflow to know, and be a part of it all, I believe we are attracted to the kindred spirits that we are inside, our circle of friends, we are the hope, the inspiration, and the dreams to so many others, and it is our light that shines out from within ourselves that opens the world of endless possibilities, possibilities that make dreams come true ~
