London native and resident Nashvillian, Laura Sweeney sends out a sound that is as unique as her background. Defying the usual, she captures attention across the board with her dynamic, soulful voice and powerful songs. She writes to a modern electronic aesthetic on a rich, melodic pop foundation. Laura has recently recorded her first EP with writing efforts from guitarist/ co-writer James Capozzi and producer/ co-writer, Sean Power, to be released in October 2009.
