X FACTOR singer Laura White wowed hundreds of fans at Chicago Rock Cafe in Trowbridge last night.
The budding pop star from Atherton, near Bolton, performed a 20-minute set of covers at the club, including Chasing Pavements by Adele and American Boy by Estelle.
White, 21, who was voted off the X Factor a month ago having previously been the bookies’ favourite to win, signed autographs and posed for photos with adoring fans after the show.
Fan Lucinda Burke, 22, of Trowbridge, said: “I’m glad Trowbridge has done something like this. I was right at the front and for the price I paid I thought it was really good.”
Kerren Spencer, 24, also of Trowbridge, added: “I enjoyed it and I did like her voice, although I’d have liked her to sing some songs from the X Factor.”
White was in Trowbridge as part of a nationwide tour.
X FACTOR finalist Laura White surprised clubbers in Swansea with an exclusive secret gig.
The 21-year-old, who was controversially voted off the hit ITV show just weeks ago, appeared at Swansea's Oceana on Monday night.
She performed a five-song set to a sell-out capacity crowd of 3,000.
Revellers had bought tickets for the special X Factor night, but were unaware exactly who was the night's special guest.
Club manager Steve Saunders said: "She did a five-track live performance, then came back on stage and met people, signing autographs and having pictures taken.
"
Mr Saunders said despite her roller-coaster ride and high profile, the singer was down to earth.
He said: "She really was a pleasure to work with and made time to speak to everyone who wanted to meet her, before jumping back in her car to get back to London for an interview first thing this morning.
"
But before she sped off into the night, the excited singer found time to have a quick word with The Post.
She was taken aback by the welcome she got from the audience, and would love to come back to the city to perform again. She said: "Since leaving X Factor I have been doing on average two to three shows per day and Swansea has been by far the best atmosphere yet.
"All the crowd were singing along and made me feel welcome.
