I think that we as a culture have forgotten that life is meant to be simple, full, and beautiful. Laugh lines are not ugly, they are signs of vitality and radiance.

I've been pokin around, seen Sonny Rollins play so far by a stroke of luck (some crazy dude sold me tickets at work). But I always am the last to know about other cool shit happening here, which also makes me cry. Couldn't get tix to Damien Rice or Arcade Fire or Feist. Only the thought of seeing you in a month pulls me through...le sigh!
