Thank you so much for your friendship.  I’m really excited since I will be putting my new e-novel, The Cure, on Amazon very soon.  In the meantime, it is already available on Lulu and Book Locker.  You can even read the first 4 chapters for free on Book Locker and see what you think.  Have a great day and be well.  http://booklocker.com/books/5003.html

    ..Lauren,

    Hi.

Hope this isn't obnoxious (though I'm sure it is), but I just wanna drop word that my new sexploitation epic is on sale right now for only $10.85 on Amazon if you'd like to pick up a copy. I think you might like it. It's really fun. These are early copies as the pub date is set for April 1st.

I'd appreciate any help in getting the word out about my new book, of course. (If you can announce it anywhere I would be eternally grateful.)

If you'd like to pick up a copy, here's the link, if it works: http://www.amazon.com/Permanent-Obscurity-Cautionary-Misadventures-Pornography/dp/0971341540

This is a sexploitation/exploitation style (black comedy) narrative -- so it starts with the (female) narrator in prison, relating her tragic sordid "cautionary tale."

In many ways, it's also a satire about bohemia and what it's like to be an artist (a.k.a. loser) in America.

    I have a website for it: PermanentObscurity.com -- http://permanentobscurity.com

"Permanent Obscurity" of course is what we all fear as artists. I talk about the title a bit on the website, and where I got it from -- you might be interested.

    Thanks again, luv.

    Hang in.

About me:

..Myspace Backgrounds My life is my family, friends and writing. I've published three novels as of the date I signed up here, 6/9/06: The Thin Pink Line, Crossing the Line, A Little Change of Face - all comedies. Before the year is out I'll see four more books published: How Nancy Drew Saved My Life, another comedy; Vertigo, a literary novel set in the Victorian era with erotic and suspense undertones; Angel's Choice, an earnest YA about teen pregnancy; and This Is Chick-Lit, an anthology of which I'm editor as well as contributor, the anthology also including Deanna Carlyle, Jennifer Coburn, Johanna Edwards, Karin Gillespie, Raelynn Hillhouse, Andrea Schicke Hirsch, Julie Kenner, Harley Jane Kozak, Stephanie Lehmann, Caren Lissner, Cara Lockwood, Ariella Papa, Kayla Perrin, Rachel Pine, Gena Showalter, Karen Siplin, and Heather Swain. I also have an essay in the Jane Austen anthology Flirting with Pride & Prejudice and a short story I co-wrote with my husband in the forthcoming Literary Cash, all about Johnny Cash. Before being published as a novelist, I was an independent bookseller for 11 years, a book reviewer for Publishers Weekly, a freelance editor, a sort-of librarian and a window washer....

Who I'd like to meet:

Writers, readers and nice people as opposed to nasty ones....
