If I friended you, it probably means I like the same kind of books you do, and am hoping you'll like mine.
When I'm not writing, I watch a ton of reality TV. I read a lot, too. And teach online YA writing classes. Oh, and reorder my netflix queue like three million times a day.

Going away to college means total independence and freedom. Unless of
course your freshman year is taped and televised for all the world to
watch. On uncensored cable.
Sweet and normal Ally Cavanaugh is one of five freshpeople shacking up
on In the House, a reality show filmed on her college campus. (As if
school isn't panic-inducing enough!) The cameras stalk her like
paparazzi, but they also capture the fun that is new friends, old
crushes, and learning to live on your own. Sure, the camera adds ten
pounds, but with the freshman fifteen a given anyway, who cares?
Ally's got bigger issues -- like how her long-distance bf can watch her
loopy late-night "episode" with a certain housemate...
Freshman year on film.
It's outrageous.
It's juicy.
And like all good reality TV, it's impossible to turn off.
I really enjoyed Reality Chick! (and I don't even watch reality television LOL) I just read the entire book last night. Wanted to stop by and let you know.
Hi Lauren, I just started reading Reality Chick and so far it's good, I can't wait to read your next book. I had to wait until the library had it and that took forever. Have fun.

Yes! I love her too. I've read all her books and then she wrote "See Jane Write" and came to Orlando, FL (where I live!) for a signing and I met her. She was down to earth and fun to talk to! We even chatted about myspace!!! :)
Kristen Harmel is sweet too! She was at the signing and we chatted too. She wrote "How to Sleep with a Movie Star" which is another good Chick Lit read.
haha, not a problem! I'm actually 22 and read lots of chick lit but after meeting Sarah Mlynowski, she was telling me about some of her YA stuff, I've been trying those too when I run out of good Chick lit! :)
I haven't been able to get your book yet. I listened to the clip on here and I look in the YA section all the time at Barnes and Noble and it's never there. Hopefully soon!
