I just finished filming my final season of The Hills. I enjoyed sharing my life with all of you and I had fun doing it, but I've come to a point where I've done it long enough.
I am staying busy working on my clothing line, Lauren Conrad Collection. I have deciced to take a couple of seasons off and make some changes to production so I will be able to lower the price point. It is currently available at www.shopbop.com and on my website
I am launching a brand new apparel line for Kohl's department stores. The line will be available in October exclusively at Kohl's stores and on the store's website. The prices will range from $20 to $60.
It's a California chic line and it will be called LC Lauren Conrad. The clothes will be a little more casual. We are trying to take that California style and make it accessible everywhere.
I am so excited to be able to do what I love, work with a great company, and also make clothes that are accessible to the fans who have made this all possible in the first place.
I am also writing 3 books. The title is "L.A. Candy". They are a young adult fiction series that tell the behind-the scenes story of a young girl who moves to L.A. and unexpectedly becomes the star of a reality television show. Along with the fame comes fabulous clothes, romance and, of course, drama. My first book was released on June 16th and is available in bookstores and online at Amazon.com or BarnesandNoble.com.
