Lauren Frost is an actress and singer/songwriter, who performed nationally and internationally with Ms. Barbra Streisand in Ms. Streisand’s “Timeless” concert tours. Lauren portrayed and sang as “Young Barbra” in the live “Timeless” concerts, and on the Emmy Winning FOX TV Special and Grammy Nominated CD Recordings. Lauren also had the honor of singing the Emmy nominated song “On the Way to Becoming Me,” written by Marilyn and Alan Bergman, and Marvin Hamlisch, at the American Film Institute’s Tribute to Barbra Streisand. She has been a Featured Singing Soloist at The Hollywood Bowl, with John Mauceri and the Hollywood Bowl Orchestra, at the Kennedy Center, the National Symphony Orchestra, and at Heinz Hall with the Pops Symphony Orchestra.
Lauren has also been a featured singer on other radio, televised, and live performances, including: FOX TV, WLS and KIIS FM Radio, The American Girls Revue CD, The Rosie O’Donnell Show, Entertainment Tonight, The CBS Early Morning Show, Inside Edition, FAO Schwartz Extra-O-Kids, Lifetime Live, at the Bennets Jazz Club, the Big Sisters of LA Rising Star Benefit, the LA Starry Nights Childrens Charity Benefit, the Revlon-UCLA Breast Cancer Center Benefit, the International Day of the Child, A Tribute to Marvin Hamlisch and His Music, and many more. Lauren has also sung on multiple commercials, jingles, and movie film soundtracks.
All who know Lauren agree with Ms. Streisand, who said Lauren “…is the sweetest person…with the most beautiful voice… a very spiritual human being and very pure…a real person with a real gift.”
Lauren can also be seen as “Ruby” on the Disney Channel’s Emmy-Nominated “Even Stevens” television show.
